Android app patch delivers noticeable battery gains on Samsung phones

Samsung recently created a dedicated section for the One UI Beta activity on the Samsung Members app. Now, the company has announced more important changes for the Samsung Members app, removing some Support Tab features.

The Korean tech giant is notifying Galaxy device users about the discontinuation of certain support features in the Samsung Members app through a notice. In a notice shared through the app, Samsung has mentioned that some features under the Support tab will no longer be available starting with the next official app update, expected in the last week of June 2025.

Users will no longer be able to use some features in the Samsung Members app, and these are:

1.) My Products and Register

When you open the app, you can currently check this feature in the Support Tab, below your device names. These are two pill-shaped buttons – My Product and Register.  The My Product feature allows you to check your Samsung devices, and the Register shows devices you have registered through QR code, Wi-Fi, or Barcode.

2.) Request Service

The Request Service feature is available under Repair Service of the Samsung Members app’s Support Tab. Through this, you can apply for the repair of your Samsung-related products and request a service.

After the Samsung Members app update in June, you won’t be able to register your Samsung devices or request support services through the app anymore. Through this, the company aims to improve the overall experience on the Samsung Members platform.

Samsung has also mentioned that users may see an error message if they try to use the “Register” feature in the older version of the app after the new update is released. This is expected and part of the intended behavior.

To avoid any issues, users are advised to update the app to the latest version through the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store. It improves the app and the overall customer experience.

For those who still want access to the removed features, Samsung recommends visiting the “My Page” section on the official Samsung website (samsung.com). This page offers similar options for product registration and service requests. The company has promised to keep working on better service features in the future.
