Canopy Challenge Kawartha Lakes launches fundraising campaign
In commemoration of Earth Working day, Cover Undertaking Kawartha Lakes (CPKL) has launched it’s 2023 Marketing campaign. CPKL is a volunteer-led neighborhood group doing work to improve the urban tree canopy in Kawartha Lakes. CPKL has been caring for Kawartha Lakes city tree canopy since August 2020.

Their 2023 Campaign is seeking to elevate $30,000 to make and rejuvenate the urban tree cover at universities and community areas in Kawartha Lakes. The tree planting for this year’s campaign will start at St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary College, I.E. Weldon Secondary College, and Dr. George Corridor Public University extra educational facilities will adhere to in the Drop.
