iQOO 11 gets Android 14 via Beta Program (Download)

At the Google I/O event on May 10, Google announced a bunch of new features coming to Android 14. Soon after the event, the Android 14 beta program was announced for several Google partner devices. iQOO 11 is one of the non-Pixel phones to get the Android 14 beta early.

iQOO is the second Vivo phone eligible for the early Android 14 beta. Along with the iQOO 11, the Vivo X90 Pro has also received the Android 14 beta which you can check out here.

Android 14 comes with a host of new features such as lock screen personalization, AI generated wallpapers, cinematic wallpapers, Find My improvements, and a bunch of other useful features. We have shared a detailed Android 14 guide that you can check out if you want to know more about Android 14.

If you own an iQOO 11 and want to test the Android 14 beta, you can follow the process that I’m going to mention below. The update is recommended only for developers and users who are familiar with the manual installation process. Also note that this is the first Android 14 beta build for the iQOO 11, which means there could be major bugs along with minor bugs.

Download Android 14 Beta Firmware for iQOO 11

To test the Android 14 beta, you don’t have to apply or fill out any application. All you need to do is install the Android 14 beta package/firmware. So first you need to download the official package for your iQOO 11. You can use the given link to download the firmware.

Prerequisite

  • Take backup of your data as installing beta firmware will delete data from your device
  • Charge your phone to at least 50%
  • Make sure your phone has over 5GB of space

How to Install Android 14 Beta on iQOO 11

  1. Copy the downloaded Android 14 firmware on your phone. Make sure it is in the root directory, which means outside of every folder.
  2. Open Settings on your phone.
  3. Now go to System Update and tap on the Gear icon.
  4. On the next page choose Local Update, locate and select the Firmware, and tap Update Now.
  5. The Firmware will extract and install on your phone, wait for the process.
  6. Once the installation is done, Reboot your phone.
