Samsung is continuing to work on releasing the Android 14 update to its entry-level smartphones. Earlier today, the Android 14 update was released to the Galaxy A05s. The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the factory-unlocked version of the Galaxy A13 has firmware version A135U1UEU6DXA2. The new software update also includes the December 2023 security patch instead of the latest February 2024 security patch. The update is now available in the US and is rolling out on several carrier networks, including Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, C-Spire, DISH, Metro PCS, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. Other carriers could also release the update in a matter of days. It is a major software update with a download size exceeding 1.5GB, so make sure you download it using a Wi-Fi network.
If you own a factory-unlocked version of the Galaxy A13 and live in the US, you can now check for the Android 14 update by opening the Settings app on your device and navigating to Software update » Download and install.
