NEW Souvenirs and Entertainment Announced for the EPCOT Festival of the Arts
Disney may be painting a masterpiece.
While 2024 isn’t quite over yet, Disney just dropped a ton of information on the FIRST festival of 2025. EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts is scheduled to run from January 17th to February 24th of 2025. Recently, Disney dropped a ton of news on what to expect at this year’s edition of the annual event, including some new elements we can’t wait to experience.
30 Years of Disney on Broadway
Located in CommuniCore Hall (Disney putting that vaunted festival flex space to good use), this Once Upon a Stage exhibition celebrates three decades of “Disney on the Great White Way” with iconic props, costumes, and relics that allow guests to “venture behind-the-scenes to see how the classic animated films “The Lion King” and “Aladdin” were reimagined for the Broadway stage.”
Opening Bites
Located directly outside the aforementioned exhibition on CommuniCore Plaza, Opening Bites will provide a menu that pays “homage to the foods and drinks immortalized onstage.”
Photo-Ops
The Festival’s popular “artful” photo-ops — which give the illusion of a guest stepping into a famous work of art, including Renoir’s Luncheon of the Boating Party and Munch’s The Scream — are returning as well. This year will also see the addition of a Moana-themed photo-op.
Stars Galore
The festival will also feature the return of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, which sees theater stars performing at the America Gardens Theater. This year’s list of performers includes:
- Patti Murin (Frozen) and John Riddle (Frozen) – January 17th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 28th
- Caissie Levy (Frozen) and Jelani Remy (The Lion King) – January 18th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 29th, 30th
- Adam Jacobs (Aladdin) and Josh Strickland (Tarzan) – January 31, February 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th
- Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins) and Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King) – February 1st, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 13th
