Seaside Artwalk closes out the year with unusual treasures, music

Celebrating 21 years in 2025, the Seaside First Saturday Art Walk is a free event in the Historic Gilbert District, located between Holladay and Broadway, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 6.
Here are some of the highlights:
Treasures of the Viking Rabbit, 600 Broadway St.
This is a new location in the Gilbert Block Building on the riverfront, featuring Nordic items that represent Viking heritage. The location features one-of-a-kind treasures, from clothing to jewelry. Owners can also make something to fit costumers’ needs.
Beach Bum Laser Designs, 606 Broadway St.
Featuring laser engraving, custom tumblers, magnets, and wall art. Founded with a passion for woodworking and design, the artist/owner creates one-of-a-kind art pieces handcrafted using Pacific Northwest cedar with care and coastal flair.
Tommy G. Boutique, 609 Broadway St.
A contemporary clothing store specializing in modern apparel. It is known for holiday clothing. The owner has a background in fashion and has worked in New York,
Pacific Heirloom and Collectibles, 608 Broadway St.
Featuring dressed Santa collectibles for their aesthetic appeal and their historical significance. The most sought-after Vintage Santas often feature distinct designs that reflect the eras in which they were made, from the charming early 20th-century decorations to popular mid-century styles.
Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway St.
Featuring Seaside singer Jason Lambert. A native of the North Coast, he performs at West Coast venues. His debut album was recorded in Carmel, California. He shares his talent with charitable organizations, served as head of guitar/bass studies at the Astoria Conservatory and is an educator at Pacific Ridge and Seaside Heights in academic music intervention.
SunRose Art & Whimsy, 734 Broadway St.
Featuring the upcycled art of Val Donley, whose creations include felted handbags, wearable art felted scarves and inspirational greeting cards. Also new for original art gift-giving are Junque Journals by Valora Eastman, dioramas by Laura Jacobson, ceramic bird feeders by Patty Thurlby, and quilted paintings by Ronni Harris.
Bliss Mercantile & Brocante, 734 Broadway St.
Located in a historic, iconic bank building, the space features ceramic art by local artist Rhonda Elston, who is inspired by the ocean and the regional culture of the area to create her functional pieces.

She notes that after Dec. 6, the 2025 Art Walks are in the books. “The Historic Gilbert District wants to thank everyone who made the events special,” she said. “We will miss you in January and February of 2026, but we will return in March for our 22nd season.”
